Okanagan Regional Library, Kelowna BC
| |
Completed in 2008, this building consists of office space, general sorting areas, a boardroom and two loading docks to receive books.
The building structure is a combination of structural steel and pre-cast concrete wall panels. The exterior finish is painted concrete with a glass curtain wall that is accented with steel sunshades.
The final project totaled 30,000 sq. ft. and took 11 months to complete a building that is functional with a very unique appearance.
