This 2004 project consisted of a 9000 square foot manufacturing shop and corporate offices. The building structure was a combination of a pre-engineered steel roof structure and insulated pre-cast concrete wall panels. The overall construction time was shortened by the use of insulated pre-cast panels which were erected in just 2 days.
The exterior pre-cast panels had a slightly textured finish and were left natural providing for very low maintenance. The sandwich panels achieved a very good insulation value with the high density foam core and had a durable smooth concrete interior surface ideal for the shop interior walls.
The aluminum curtain wall with tinted glazing complemented the natural concrete wall panel which gave the building a very attractive look.
